Slow Food Waitakere April Event

Slow Food Waitakere presents:

Croissants in One Hour!  

With Allison Pirrie from Gourmet Gannet

At this workshop you can learn how to make a French croissant in one hour. 
The workshop will initially demonstrate step by step how to make croissants and then you will produce your own batch from scratch. 
Making a combination of chocolate and plain croissants, you will produce and take home a batch of a dozen mini croissants each. 
Some we will bake in class and the rest you can freeze to be baked another day.

All you need to bring is an apron, rolling pin and a large container or tray to take them home in.
 If you don't have a rolling pin there will be a few spare.

Directions. State Highway 16 to Waimauku, turn left onto Muriwai Rd at Waimauku school. Follow road through to Muriwai( approx 8 min). 
At Muriwai road splits, take road straight ahead which is Oaia Rd. Take first road right, Waitea Rd and follow down the hill.
 Edwin Mitchelson is second road on right.
