Slow Coffee. Beautiful People. Great Cause.

We had a perfect sunny Saturday for  the Slow Food Waitakere Biggest Coffee Break in support of Oxfam and Fairtrade Fortnight.

This year we decided to ''go out for coffee" and support a  great local business - Coffee Studio at Corban's Estate Art Centre. I knew I was in the right place when  they started playing their vinyl and it was Neil Young.

We had a slow Saturday morning. Meeting old and new friends and making some exciting connections  - it is amazing what happens when we all get together and start talking (and listening).

Thank you  to everyone who attended and contributed to Oxfam's Fairtrade campaign and to the people who couldn't make it and donated on line.

Check out our photos below - and its not too late to make a donation- just click here!
