Starting today I plan to feature a small article about a producer or company that supported us in our efforts to create out amazing stand and gift basket for the Italian Festival. This stand allowed us to share our message and expand our membership.

The first of the companies I wish to thank for their generosity is the Luscious Food Store / Luscious Catering, http://thelusciousfoodstore.co.nz/about-us-2/. Jono provided an extremely generous prize of a dinner, with desert for 2 and a bottle of wine. Thank you.

The Luscious Food Store is a local Te Atatu Peninsula cafe dedicated to serving great quality food in a relaxed family friendly environment. Where possible they try to source our produce locally including supplies from the Westmere Organic Butchers, Wild Wheat breads and even our beer from Hallertau Brewery in Riverhead.

The kitchen is headed up by owner Jono Clarke . Jono has worked in fine dining restaurants here and Europe, and have for the last 10 years been catering to some of the biggest film and television productions in Auckland including BBC’s Castaway, America’s Next Top Model and local productions including Outrageous Fortune and The Cult. Other events they have catered include The Louis Vuitton Cup, the Netball World Cup and Taste.

The menu is ever changing with little touches that go with the seasons but trying to keep favourites of all their regulars.

Please like their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thelusciousfoodstore - or even pop in to check them out
