Hua Parakore








 He mihi Maioho, mai nga wharuarua o Te Waka Kai Ora ki te Motu ki te Ao. E nga Rangatira, e nga Ariki Tapaiuru e taiawhio ana ki nga hau e wha, tukua tenei powhiri hei tawharau i a tatou ki raro i te tuanui o Te Waka Kai Ora.

Tenei te minenga e whakatoo ana i nga pukenga tikanga, me nga kawa taketake o te Hua Parakore, Kei te whakaniko, kei te pohewangia ngai korakoratanga o a tatou kai Māori katoa.




After many years of mahi Te Waka Kai Ora are proud to announce the official launch of the new tikanga based indigenous tohu Hua Parakore.

Hua Parakore is a way of growing Kai Ātua or pure foods through healthy landscapes and pure seedlines producing kai that is full of energy and wellbeing.


We invite you to celebrate with Te Waka Kai Ora the attainment of the vision of our Kaumatua and Kuia by attending the launch of Hua Parakore Kai Ātua, Kai Ora, a world first in indigenous verification and labeling. The event is to be held at: 

Turnbull House, Wellington 5pm, on Thursday 14th July
